Hi! My name is Sabrina
but you can call me Beans.
I am an Omani Multidisciplinary Artist, Muralist, and Curator currently based in Occupied Ohlone Land.
I am an infinitely curious person. You could say I am a collector of stories, images, sounds and experiences.
I am a creative builder guided by my emotional authority. I listen and respond to what I feel called to. I have been reflecting on my experience as an artist in a Capitalist world that emphasizes individualism as the path to success and have found that the ailments I have been experiencing in my body and soul around creating and being an “artist” stem from this environment. In response I am choosing to work on community based and collaborative projects currently, that focus on supporting the work of creating change that is rooted in and lay the groundwork for indigenous sovereignty, land back, and revolution.
I'm committed to pushing boundaries and challenging myself to create work that is meaningful, thought-provoking and steeped in liberation.
If you’d like to work together please get in touch, I would love to connect with you. You can either reach me through my Contact page or via Instagram.
